Our very own Danish Cool Cats take us back to the legendary jazz stories taken place in Copenhagen. Copenhagen is known for being an old city of Jazz and many musicians came to the country, some even stayed to participate and be a part of this amazing capital. Thus, there is a lot of stories and incredible music to explore and what better way than with the Danes that was there. Alex Riel is the legend behind the drums who has played with names like Dexter Gordon, Ben Webster, Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, founding member of the rock group The Savage Rose and a winner of the Grand Prix Award at the Montreux Jazz Festival to name just a few of his accomplishments. On his side is Bo Stief with the double bass and he too like Riel has played with everybody including names like Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie as a true Master of Jazz. Ole Kock Hansen on the piano is an equally renowned musician and especially acknowledged for his long-term cooperation with Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen. To gather the Cool Cats on stage is Benjamin Koppel who keeps the music and stories alive.
